WORSHIP & PROPHECY NIGHT

Join us for our next WORSHIP & PROPHECY NIGHT! These evenings are set apart for worshipping together, hearing a teaching and then spending the rest of the time learning how to give prophetic words of encouragement to each other. As a church, we are committed to living into the Vineyard value that “everyone gets to play” when it comes to operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Our hope is to see each person in our community equipped and activated in the prophetic so that we can become a prophetic community that learns how to strengthen, encourage and comfort those around us. These evenings are low pressure, grace-filled and FUN, but will also require you to step out in faith. We find it is best to do this together as a community, so please join us!

If you have any questions, please email Kara at kara@the166.org

DONATIONS FOR HYGIENE KITS

On Thursday, August 29th, The166 will provide an opportunity for you to donate to NYC Relief (https://newyorkcityrelief.org/). The organization gives away about 650 hygiene kits a week and they are in need of more! These funds will go directly towards their efforts to purchase hygiene kits for men and women who are struggling with homelessness. One challenge that these folks face is obtaining basic toiletries (e.g. underwear, pads and tampons) and oftentimes, the women have had to resort to stealing these items from a local drugstore. This is one small, but tangible way that we can offer assistance as a church body. You are welcome to donate either through cash or a check made payable to "NEW YORK CITY RELIEF." If you have any questions, please email Corey Hayes at Corey@newyorkcityrelief.org

GET PROXIMATE (VINEYARD JUSTICE NETWORK)

NOVEMBER 14th - 16th | BLUE ROUTE VINEYARD | PHILLY, PA

In Just Mercy, Bryan Stevenson shares how his struggle for justice and ability to understand the complexity of mass incarceration is rooted in “getting proximate” to the people whose lives are most affected by the issues at hand.

WHAT DOES GOD SAY AND WHAT WOULD HE HAVE US DO?

As faith leaders, how can we best develop a Kingdom-life centered approach to the myriad of hot-button issues in our time by “getting proximate”? It’s more challenging than ever to not have a knee-jerk response to hot-button issues like immigration, abortion, racism, and mass incarceration, to name a few! Oftentimes, we, the church, can shy away from such topics and are criticized for avoiding them.

Instead, VJN wants to create a mutually respectful space to study, discuss and debate some of these key issues, and get proximate to the very people they are affecting. Join us for an immersive, learning community experience.

Earlybird rates through August 31, $85 / $65 for students!

WORSHIP & PROPHECY NIGHT

Join us for our first WORSHIP & PROPHECY NIGHT with special guest, Phil Zaldatte! During the summer months, our workshop groups will be on break and in place of them, we will be hosting Worship & Prophecy nights. These evenings are set apart for worshipping together and then spending the rest of the time learning how to give prophetic words of encouragement and blessing to each other. As a church, we are committed to seeing each person in our community equipped and activated in giving words of encouragement to people within and outside the church walls.

Our guest speaker, Phil Zaldatte has been ministering to people all over the world, bringing his gifting in the prophetic and dream interpretation to help people see and realize their dreams and God’s vision for them. Phil served for 15 years with the Vineyard Church movement in southern California and subsequently for 7 years with John Paul Jackson when his passion for prophetic evangelism developed and grew.  He speaks to a variety of audiences at conferences, churches and other venues, leading workshops and seminars and hosting programs through radio, webinars and other media outlets.
